The Parliament of Victoria has launched a competition for young people to showcase their creative and writing skills. Young people are asked to address the topic, "What event or person has had a major influence on the Victorian Parliament over its 162 year history?"
Write an essay, make a video, design a poster, create a multimedia presentation – it's up to you! This is an opportunity to stretch your creative skills. Prizes include a chance to win $500 and $1K for your school and the winners will be announced at a ceremony in Parliament House.
Parliament Prize is open to Victorian secondary students. For more information and to submit your entry visit the Parliament of Victoria website.
Entries close on Friday 20 July.
