Macramé, or the art of knotting, is having a swift revival since the 70’s. It’s easy and affordable. You don’t need any tools and you can spice up any room with a wall art or planter.
In this workshop, hosted by Laneway Learning, learn how to create macramé plant hangers using cotton yarn from your old T-shirts! Up-cycling old clothes into macramé art is a great way to practice sustainability and low-waste living in a fun and creative way.
What to bring:
Participants need to bring one or two old t-shirts or fabric (no embroidery or ribbed cotton)
Optional: a pot plant you’d like to hang, macramé style
