LINK-U
LINK-U is a mobile after hours outreach, information, program support and referral service for Banyule young people and their families - we can help you connect to relevant services and facilities in the community. You can call us for a confidential chat on our freecall number 1800 254 658 (1800-2-LINK-U) seven days per week
Monday to Thursday: 9am - 5pm
Friday to Sunday: 9am - Midnight
We can help if you need someone to talk to, or someone to point you in the right direction of where you can get help. We can also work supporting young people and their families in Banyule.

LADS (Local Area Development Youth Workers)
 

LADS are youth workers who support and foster young peoples' active involvement and connectedness to the community.
 
LADS are local specialists who work in your area to support young people.
 
LADS provide information, referral and advocacy to young people and their families, and build partnerships between local young people and youth agencies to encourage positive life choices.
 
LADS support youth programs, events and services and aim to develop positive youth outcomes through accessing funding and resources.
 
If you are a young person living, going to school, working or socialising in the Banyule community and you would like information or support, you can contact the youth service and speak to one of our youth workers.
 
They are available to assist with issues or direct you to the information you need. This is a non-discriminative, free and confidential service to assist YOU.

Community Building Program (Metro Access) 
Our Community Building Program (Metro Access) supports people with a disability to build a more welcoming and inclusive community by raising awareness about the needs of people with a disability or mental health issue.

SUPPORT PROGRAMS
 
Parent - Zone
Parent - Zone is a support group for young parents under 25 years of age who live in the city of Banyule.
The group is ran every Friday of the school term
The group focus's on pampering parents, providing support for parents around housing, education and other issues that affect young parents. 
The group is facilitated by a youth worker and a maternal and child health worker.
Parenting information and ages and stages, milestone weigh in are all available and optional.

Teenagers with a disability
Teens can enrol in Saturday Sounds or T.W.A.N.G. programs that encourage social engagement and expression through creative art activities. Funded by Department of Human Services (DHS) as respite for parents/carers, teenagers aged 13-17 can attend Saturday Sounds during the school term and/or T.W.A.N.G. (Teenagers With Additional Needs Group) in the school holidays. Phone Jets on 9467 7152 to enrol.
