Young People Sought for Climate Change Event

Are you aged between 14 and 17 and care about global warming?  You can be involved in running  a cool youth and sustainability event in the City of Melbourne. The City of Melbourne are looking for a team of 15  young people to help plan, manage and run an event for young people on any aspect of sustainability, such as climate change, as part of it's Eco-City Forum in August 2010.
To apply, you will need to get a consent form signed by a parent and submit it by Friday May 14. The first meeting will be May 18 from 4pm -5:30pm at the Melbourne Town Hall in Swanston Street, Melbourne.
What's in it for you? You'll get the chance to learn how an event comes together, make a difference to Melbourne's young people, find out about climate change, learn some new skills and expand your network. Plus the organisers will throw in free pizza and transport for each meeting.
