This session will be specifically designed to show participants course and traineeship pathways, including the Certificate III & IV in Fitness and Community Recreation.

Sportfutures offers traineeships designed to increase the knowledge and experience of people working or interested in working in the Sport and Recreation industry. They are delivered via a flexible program of workplace based training that is customised to meet the needs of Trainees and their employers.
Sportfutures graduates receive a nationally accredited Certificate III or IV qualification, hands on industry experience and the opportunity to begin a career with added confidence in the Sport & Recreation industry.

Sports Traineeship
The MSAC Institute of Training is a state of the art training centre for the sport and recreation industry. The MSAC Institute of Training specialises in the provision of aquatic, sport and recreation training courses.
An initiative of the State Sport Centres Trust (SSCT) and MSAC Institute of Training, the Sportfutures traineeship program is designed to increase your knowledge and experience of the sport and recreation industry thereby increasing your employability through a flexible program of workplace based training at MSAC.
Throughout the year we offer up to 50 traineeships in our business. You will gain a nationally recognised qualification, learn new skills and earn money as you move through an education pathway within the sporting industry.
Traineeships can be undertaken as employment opportunities arise in roles such as:
- Membership Service and Sales
- Sport Retail
- Lifeguarding
- Swim School
- Fitness
