L2P Learner Driver Mentor Program

The Banyule L2P learner driver mentor program is a community based program developed by VicRoads to support young people who face significant barriers in completing their mandatory 120 hours of on road driving experience.
If you're aged between 16 and 20 years and live or have strong connections with the City of Banyule, you hold a current Learner's Permit and are unable to access traditional family supports associated with learning to drive you should apply.
All learner drivers are matched with a volunteering mentor who is trained by VicRoads who can provide at least one hour of supervised driving practice per week. Participants in the program also receive a number of professional driving lessons at various stages.
