The Involve Committee

Applications are now open to be on the Involve Committee.
 
The Involve Committee is an official Ministerial Advisory Committee.
 
The role of the committee is to:
 
Ask young people what they think about different topics
 

  • Meet with people from government and the community
  • Develop advice to present to the Minister for Youth Affairs

 
Members of the Involve committee will join for 18 months and will meet once a month. The costs for participating in the committee will be covered by the Office for Youth.
 
The committee will be made up of 18 young people who are representative of young Victorians aged 12-25 from all walks of life.
 
Sixteen positions are currently available during this application round. The plan is to include eight young people aged 12-17 and eight young people aged 18-25 from across Victoria. This includes two young people from each region across Victoria (for more about regions see the Victorian Electoral Commission's website)
