Free Metlink Mega Cricket Clinic

Registrations are now open for two free Metlink Mega Cricket Clinics at the MCG.
 
Budding batters and bowlers aged 8 - 15 years have the chance to join their cricket heroes from the Commonwealth Bank Bushrangers and VicSpirit for an action packed clinic full of cricket skills, drills and thrills.
 
Registrations are available for two free sessions at the MCG so make sure you are on board!

The Banyule Youth Services team are at Malahang Reserve every second Monday during school term from 3.30pm to 5.30pm.  We provide a range of activities including filming and editing your best scooter and BMX tricks on an iPad, scooter and BMX comps, half court basketball comps and plenty more!  Come and have a chat to our youth services team, have some healthy food and join in on the activities.

Live Your Community Sporting Mates is an exciting new program currently being launched by Extended Families Australia and Access for All Abilities in Banyule, Whittlesea and Nillumbik.
Sporting Mates provides volunteer support for children with disabilities to participate in sporting club and active recreation activities, assisting them to overcome barriers to inclusion and broaden their social networks.

South Morang footy club require Under 19 players

The South Morang Football Club will once again be fielding an Under 19s team in 2011. The Lions are currently looking for players to join this exciting new team and become a part of a big future at Mill Park Lakes. It is important for the growth of the league that a club like South Morang, with such a strong junior contingent, field a team in the C Grade competition.

Are you, or do you know, a dedicated young athlete, coach or official participating in a state or national sporting championships? Are you aged 12-18 years old travelling further than 250km return for a state or national championships?
 
If yes, then you or your team could be eligible for a Local Sporting Champions grant to help meet costs such as uniforms, travel, accommodation and equipment.
