BYE-Bundoora Secondary College welcome the Safe Schools Coalition

Bundoora welcome all!
Bundoora Secondary are proud to be a Safe School and not discriminate against sexuality. Safe Schools Coalition Victoria (SSCV) aim is that schools in Victoria are places where same sex attracted and gender questioning young people are supported, where every family can belong, where every teacher can teach and every student can learn.
After joining the Safe School Coalition a group of Bundoora's leadership team met to discuss how best to pass the message through the school. A poster competition was designed for students to think creatively about the issue but also to promote to other students. The school was informed of the competition by the leadership group speaking at the school assembly and designing their own posters to gather up interest.
Westfield vouchers were given out as prizes to drum up interest and it worked! 13 entries were received and included posters, power point presentations and a video. Winners of the competition will be anounced Friday 28th October.
