Australian Poetry Slam

The search is on for Victoria's best spoken word poet, with heats being held all over Victoria. Entry is free. Heats are being held all over Victoria with the final at the State Library on November 19.
Speak, scream, howl, whisper or sing your original poem at the Australian Poetry Slam, an electric live event where the audience is the judge. Even if you don't have a poem to perform you can come along and help cheer the poets to victory.
Performances will be judged by a panel randomly selected from the audience, so be prepared to voice your opinion loud and clear.
