Hannah Kate have earned themselves a reputation for their raucous live shows and their intelligent brand of rock and roll. They’ve attracted a diverse audience with frontwoman Hannah’s exciting songwriting ability, her sense of humour and her DIY attitude.
Over the last year Hannah and the band have been busy supporting the likes of Ali Barter, Bad//Dreems and Lime Cordiale to name a few, as well as performing a memorable sunset slot at Melbourne’s St Kilda Festival this year.
Sunday Mourning, the third single from the band’s upcoming debut album, is a perfect example of Hannah’s prowess as a songwriter with jangly psych-inspired guitars serving as the perfect dichotomy to the songs hauntingly concise lyrics. The track offers an intimate glimpse into the mind of 21-year-old frontwoman Hannah and her all too relatable feelings of being tired, uninspired and the pressure of being “good at life”.
